because..

1. my mac IS FIXED!!!
wooohooooooooooooooooooooo!!!! thanx to andira's ipod yg bisa gue pake untuk ngeboot my mac. OMG if this didnt work then i was forced to bring my mac into service and had to pay a fortune for something i couldv done myself.. altho it took me hours to finally finish EVERYTHING. dan skg cape banget. blom ngerjain tugas padahal. hohhh gpp!! yg penting comp gue beres. banyak pihak yg berjasa sampe akhirnya smua ini beres. adit for letting me keep his imac here for days (but he's moving anyway so skalian lah. he's not moving in with me btw. he's just moving. period.), martin for lending me his external hdd, andira for his super u2 ipod and of course fredy my IT housemate for his everpresent support!!! these fine gentlemen helped a poor lady in distress aka me. hihi tp dgn kejadian ini gue jadi blajar lebih ttg mac. plus the fact that IT CAN BE DONE BY YOURSELF(well technically =p as iv mentioned earlier, iv had heaps of support). good thing i didnt try the archive and install tho. that didnt work!!! WHOAHHH. gak kebayang klo andaikan gue nekat. bisa2 ilang smuwaahhh!! hiiiiiiyyhhh..
iv gotten rid of some stuff that was previously on my comp. huhhh ga tau de isinya apa aja. jadinya banyak gitu. ternyata yg gue pindah2in cman 50giga, instead of the previous 70ish i thot it'd be. mungkin itu termasuk applicationsnya kali yah.. oh well.. now i only hav to get my hands on ms office n im all set like before.

2. visa gue dah kluar!!!
hahaha so im not on a bridging visa anymore and i can finally get rid of the old pasport yg visa lama masi nempel. annoying skali bawa2 buku paspor yg tebel. hohoh jadi skg hidup dgn tenaaaaaanggggg. unlawful resident NO MORE.

i went to laguna after i finished at immigration yg ngeBTin BANGET. gue sial gitu dpt urutan hurufnya. i got O. trus that moved so very sloooowww.. yg B gile cepet banget. some ppl yg i know came in later thn i did got to their desks earlier.. aarghh. trus mas2 yg behind the counter td ga sopan banget. masa gue belom duduk, dia dah langsung "okay your forms, applications etc". gile. baca case gue dulu kek. its my 2nd appointment, hello?! i know uv been working all day BUT THATS YOUR JOB NOW ISNT IT?! iv been waiting for an hour or so doing nothing just to get to the appointment... harrrrr.. untung gak ada irritation2 lain yg berlanjut. it all went smoothly from there and i finished in 10mins.

as i was saying.. laguna. gue kelaperan buangeeet.. the appointment was at 3. my class started at 12 so i got an onigiri before class starts. and didnt eat anything until i got out of laguna, which was around 430. jadi di laguna gue blanja2 sambil kelaparan. and i proved that theory right, that you end up buying more stuff in the supermarket when ur hungry. OMG i bought a lot. way more thn i would normally have. tp ga nyesel sih, soalnya yg gue beli emang enak hehehehe.

astagaaaa akhirnya kutemukan jugaaa.. gue pikir org2 blanda kok gaptek amat yak. kan gue nyariin tuh temen2 sekelas yg dulu. pnasaran aja skg wujudnya kya apa. ofcourse i found none on frenster. jadi gue signup ke myspace dgn harapan klo pd signup di situ, krn lets face it, myspace emang lebi gaul bwat org2 bule. or so i thought.. ternyata gak nemu juga!!! so months passed.. trus akhirnyaaaaaa setelah sekian lama, si tessa tiba2 msg gue krn dia dikasi tau om tonny klo mo nyari anak2 tu mungkin lebih bisa nemu di hyves.nl. eh bener aja lohhh gue baru aja tadi sign up and typed in names that i could remember (which turn out to be quite a lot, considering the fact that iv last met them a decade ago!! gosh that feels old). hahah dan skg ini udah ada 2 orang 'friends'. hahahah yeaaaahhh..

klo tesa temennya udah 11 aja loh. dah ada testimnya segala! hahah hebattttttt..

this is good news! makes me feel less guilty everytime i shower and leave the water running on slightly unnecessary.. plus the fact that i dont collect grey water. tp buat apa juga krn gue ga ada kebun anyways -_-*.

tadi akhirnya gue kesampean jg nyoba lord of the fries. setelah berkali2 lewat dan mengidam2, iv had some today. i had the asian one. belgian mayo+peanut sauce+chopped onions. sounds like "patatje oorlog", eh?! so my expectations were going through the roof. setelah gue coba.. hmmm.. mayonya gak sedashyat yg seharusnya. peanut saucenya is okelahyah. but its better thn what ppl here call satay sauce, which is basically thickened currysauce (sangat menipu!). klo dimakan separately mungkin ga sbrapa enak, tp krn ini smua dicampur2, plus the added chopped onions.. woohh not baaaad hahahaha. apalagi klo lagi laper ^^.

so a bunch of us went to bearbrass. trus i made this drink request yg aneh, milk chocolate with mandarin vodka. baristanya bingung. trus nanya gue have you had this before? i said yes. i did. i made it at adits. with big m chocolate + vanilla vodka. yummm.. but anyway, they said they could make it so all there was left was to pay for my drink. begitu pesanannya dateng.. wahhhh kok terlihat sangat banyak yahh. they mustv put too much milk in it. and they did T_T. sedihnya. vodkanya cman berasa dikit hixxx.. mungkin laen kali gue kasi request untuk milknya ga usah banyak2 kali yahhhhh.. it tasted nice sih. choc+orange kan emang nice. this incident wont stop me in requesting unusual mixes at the bar hehehe.

besok ntn trichestra. band+ string chamber orchestra + traditional percussion. sounds very promising. baru tau gue klo si lia yg conduct! totally unexpected.

i seem to have forgotten about uni work for the past 2 days. need to pace myself! wooshaaaaaahhh~

messed up mac

oke. on anzacday 07 iv officially made war on mac! kesialan demi kesialan menimpa diriku. mulai dr kesalahan diri mendelete sesuatu yg seharusnya tidak didelete.. which results in me having to face a blue screen T__T. so.. damage done: reinstall system. yg berarti gue harus back up all my files.. aaarghhh!!

it was hard to stay positive. tp yasudah, tugas tetep harus dikerjain. so i did a couple more marks for identity. same method still, with ink. trus i headed off to adits to redo all my stuff for today. poor him, i was hogging the comp for hours. thanks dear for letting me ^_^.

anyway.. after rescanning and remucking around, i encountered another mishap. it turned out that i had deleted THE ENTIRE FOLDER that contained this years uni work on his comp. I WANTED TO CRY. all was gone. nothing left. but the good thing was that the file that i had worked on previously was just floating around on the desktop, so i was able to save it. THANK GOODNESS!!! klo ngga, smua kerjaan percuma sudah and i wouldntv gotten to class today. too much sadness for a day T_T.

so iv bought myself a firewire cable. jadi bisa transferin file2. harus ngerepotin adit lagi krn im using his mac to temporarily dump my stuff in. hueheh senkyo again ndut ^_^.

i tried to point out the good things, which were:
- untung ini bukan sehari sbelom submission. OMG to the lecturers this would look the same as 'my dog ate my homework'.
- krn mac saya tewas, mau gak mau i had time to do even MORE developing brandmarks. which is gpp krn yg akhirnya malah banyak gue pake were the ones that i did yesterday while waiting for the guys.
- i can finally sort my files properly. iv got so much stuff!! cant believe it!!! 70gigs of data I DIDNT EVEN KNOW I HAVE.

so iv 'whooshaaaaaahhh'-ed my way out of this and im totally zen at the moment hahah.

super inne is helping yafet and adit in cleaning up!! hebat bener!! tiap kali yafet adit pindahan mesti ada wanita super yg membantu dlm masalah perpindahan. last time it was anita.. this time its inne. im not helping much sih hehe. that's later when they settle. i'll help with shopping for new stuff and arranging it in the house HAHAHAHA. but yeah.. proses pemberesan rumah berjalan lancar. i cant wait for them to move into their new place! smoga tempatnya rapi ^^

I MISS MUM

i just called my mum out of the blue. she was kind of surprised. of course she would be, considering i call only once a month, itupun kadang setelah sms2 nyuruh nelpon. i felt like talking to her. besides it must be lonely in the house cuz dad's out and about..

talked bout heaps of stuff. family matters(a rather frustrating bit), how im doing in uni, and of course random stuffs such as the horrifying fashion of todays wanita jakarta baik dari abg sampe tante2 berperut buncit. plus we came to the subject that we need a good one on one session some day where all will be revealed about her past love life. hahaha jengjeeeenggg.. i only know a little bit. and it seems that the things i do remember ARE WRONG. jiahhhhhhh. pnasaran maaaan. but its cool. its okee.. emang sgala sesuatu harus datang pada waktunya ya. will be interesting. hearing out her stories as a young woman, not as 'mum'.

its been waaay too long!! iv complained to her that org2 tu klo ada first impression dr gue tu byasanya gak jaoh2 dr "judes/mengerikan/sombong/nyolot" because of my face. trus nyokap gue bingung. krn mnrt dia muka gue gak judes.. "klo ibu mungkin iya kali yah..". hahahah tertawalah saya dan tentu gue amin-i!!

AAARGHH i miss my mum T__T

ngadat

busettt its been ages!!! hahahah. rasanya aneh ni nulis2 lagi.

apa aja ya yg dah lewat. coba gue recap. camp dah lewat [camp was GREAT!!]. trus we saw 300 the friday after camp, ber50 di melben central.. trus.. oh, went clubbing for the first time this year. im getting old, really. the excitement has worn off. or was that because i lacked sleep a couple of days before? kombinasi kali yah. mid-semester presentations at uni juga dah lewat.

past couple of days has been kinda surreal. so much grief in the world. dlm sgala skala, yg deket2 iya yg jauh2 juga iya. yg lagi diberitain skg2 ini the shootings at virginia tech. man thats like a scene out of a nightmare!! i pray that nobody at swinburne is that stressed out and starts to.. AAARGHHH.. yea. but then again its not as easy to get guns down here compared to up there.

i managed to make roast pork on monday! hohoh i marinated it for a couple of days in bumbu charsiu hahah. i didnt get the desired crackling sih, it was rather gosong hahah. tp enak dagingnya! i cut the pieces up too large, so i made smaller cuts lateron and put everything back in the oven. YEAH I CAN MAKE ROAST PORK! what i also did was putting cut capsicum during the last 30mins baking. critanya mo bikin roasted capsicum gitu. enakkk wangi2 gitu jadinya. the washing up was a bitch si. gue rendem 2 hari, tetep aja masih ada bekas2nya dikit. arrghhh. dan minyaknya ituloh!! i use it now to fry my eggs with. huhu. im sure its no good, its all fat afterall.. abisnya enak sih, gimana dong =p.

speaking of fat, tadi ada acara di tv (yes i know!! tumben amat ye gue ntn tv!!) ttg the US size 0 phenomenon. this gorgeous looking woman took up the challenge, untuk show ppl klo ini efeknya emang ngerusak.. so she went on a crash diet+exercise for 30days, with regular health chekups of course, to go from a size 8 to 4 (aka size 0). i mean.. the woman is tiny even with her size 8 frame. she became really emotional, snappy and basically unhealthy at the end of it. i cant imagine going through this for a long period. rasanya harus determinasi tinggi/desperate to starve yourself out like that. pllus it messes up your body sedemikian rupa sampe ada kemungkinan lu susah hamil. or you might even lose the chance of getting pregnant! malasss.. i'll never have an eating disorder!! i love food too much i spose ^^.
tp gila juga sih, org2 yg ngerasa terpressure untuk conform with runway standards. somehow individualsnya gak spenuhnya blameless, kok bisa2nya succumb to that pressure.

perhaps ppl should change the standard back to the 1700s. smua orang must gain lots of weight to be deemed attractive! hahah. krispy kreme seneng tuuuhh.. anna wintour would be just mortified im sure, even more dibandingin jaman2nya grunge era.

time flies again. its nearing may. MAY, people.. 5 month of the year already. tp anehnya the weather is still warm. im not even wearing warm clothes!! tp enak sih, i like this kind of temperature. gak kepanasan tp blom dingin juga.

hp gue mulai bertingkah neh. the button in the middle mengeluarkan bunyi ceklakceklik everytime i push it. tp gue males ganti hp. ganti apa coba. i like adits phone sih. its simple with features yg just right, very uncharacteristic for nokia.

(barusan juga random. ada baeknya gue brenti nulis.)

exotic milk

for starters, i truly DISLIKE drinking milk. it has been forced down my throat for the first 14 years of my life, and i didnt have any power to object to the enforcement that is my mother (she can be a scary little lady if she really puts her efforts into it).

a decade later i seem to get slightly wiser (cieh) and realize that i do need the calcium found in this dreadfully tasting liquid, not necessarily now but surely later in life. id rather not have weak bones lah intinya. and yes, my dads happening was what ringed the alarm.

so.. how to approach this matter?? i have tried adding banana nesquik to my milk, but i found that it looked alarmingly yellow. too much colouring? trus lama2 bosen juga krn kaga abis2 (sampe skg masi ada sisa). jadiiiiiii akhirnya gue kepikiran untuk nambahin sirup thru my milk.
dan ternyata.... ENAK! SUKSES!!

doooohhh if only mum (or myself.. ) had thought about this earlier on, it wouldve spared us SO MUCH GRIEF! and perhaps i wouldv consumed all my milk.. krn kadang saya kurang ajar and threw it away down the sink (such an ungrateful little child i was) or had my cousin drink it(which a nobler deed). mum used to put choc powder thru my milk. i hated it ( I HATED IT!!! OH DEAR HEAVENS HOW I HATED DRINKING MILK) but a hint of choc was always better thn plain milk.

-moving on- sirup yg gue campurkan skg adalah marjan boudoin yg rasa lychee punch. enaaaaakkk.. klo sirup kan cepet abis jadi i can experiment with flavours = gak bosan.

btw i dont really like chocolate milk. kecuali big m coklat. tp itu juga pasti banyakan gulanya trus im sure its fullmilk. jadi klo itu yg gue jadikan sbg minuman rutin tentunya gue akan membulat dgn cepat.

im picky with milk also. dulu keyo sukanya beli rev dan gue nyomot2. rasanya enak, its not 'milky'. nyaris ga ada rasanya, which i very much like. plus its lowfat and highcalcium = yg saya cari.

woh its been one heck of a week!!! assignments + camp.

just had another group meeting today, at lucky coq ofcourse cuz mr secretary was in need of some pizza. meetingnya lama aja loh. 2 jam. jam pertama diisi dgn pembeberan research dan brainstorming.. i didnt have anything to offer krn jujur aja gue belom research lebih mendalam. but what the other guys found was such a wealth of info sampe kita bingung mo diapain. terestablishlah bahwa kita ga ada decisionmaker di grup hahah. yah well pokoknya.. jam berikutnya things started to move along, which was good.

lalu gue ma tash straight to glen waverly untuk meeting lagi. hoshhhhh.. ne baru pulang. capeee.
tapiiiiiihhh masih harus nyelesein buku camp, baek yg indo maupun yg english. kemudiannnn mensortir tshirt2 (smoga telah terkumpul semua.. omg. counting has never been my strongest point). lalu FINALLY sempat doing laundry. buset dah klo ngga hari ini tentunya gak sempet krn gak bakalan mungkin kering on thursday evening. belom packing juga tentunya. but thats not my main concern.

am finally loading CS2 on my machine. sangat telat ya, CS3 is going to come out soon. tp yasudahloh. better late thn never, id say!

hoshhhh.... kamis depan ada yg due. MATILAH. identity design. i need to tweak so much! my wording, more indepth info, usergroupnya kurang terdefine, sama approach satu lagi untuk menentukan logo. but i think im going to play around a bit more with it.
