i just had a chat with a friend and we came onto the topic of 80s cartoons. well ofkos krn kita adalah child of the 80s maka wajarlah tontonan kita adalah kartun2 80s juga.

i had a couple of favourite characters. did anybody else watch lady lovelylocks (LLL)??? well there's this villain yg tentunya terlihat jauh lebih keren dr lakonnya.

i absolutely loved LLL. i even had a sticker collection book thingie from panini. the stickers i had to collect are just like these pics! ini yg special gituh, yg artsy ini bahan stickernya silver2y. the regular ones are just images taken from the series. sayangnya gue gak sempet fill my entire book. some stickers missing. hixhix. but anyway, ladylovelylocks.org helped out a lot to see what i missed out on ^^.

now there's another series that i just loved. judulnya 'jem and the holograms'. i had to google the title, cuz i only remembered the villains! why? because these girls were fierce, where as jem and her posse were a bunch of pink wuzzies.

i always, ALWAYS wanted ladylovelylocks to just accidentally loose a couple of strands of her magic hair. atau for the holograms to just lose an award or sumtin. TAPI KENAPA SELALU GAK PERNAH KALAH!?!?!?!

this fact bugged me. so you'd think the series' creators mustv done something wrong when they cannot indoctrinate a 6yo, right. they shudve just let them win. just every now and then to keep the balance.

okayy.. why i liked the ravenhaired girl? one. she had LONG SHINY BLACK HAIR. she was so much prettier then the rest. plus.. the colour of her dress. trus as i watched the series more often, gue gregetan banget krn tiap2 kali kok nyaris2 berhasil menang. tp kok ga perna menang. jadi simpatik kan gue (mungkin stengahnya juga krn sbg anak kecil, mustahil jugalah kita 'menang' dr nyokap klo lagi ada apa2. hehe). plus dr koleksi stiker panini.. her images were the prettiest. as u can see from the pic, bajunya juga lebih keren kannn. hehe.

oke. why i liked the misfits? cuz they weren't all dressed in pink. their songs had more oomph. if uv seen the series, ud know that their outfits were fierce!!! go youtube it (OMG THEY HAVE IT ON YOUTUBE!!!!) see what i mean.

i followed other series when i was little, both girlie n boyish cartoons. tp i wont elaborate. at least for now.
these 2 i really hold dear makanya gue bahas.

the 90s kids.. they grew up watching pokemon. digimon. dan monmon laennya.
sayang yah, transformers won't hold such a significance..
(i like the decepticons better also. hehe. logonya lebih keren =p )

yep. terjadilah kembali. gue ngerjain tugas sampe pagi. STUPID PROCRASTINATION! unlike most ppl, iv failed to do substantial amounts of work during the weekend. sadly for me the most difficult thing to beat is actually STILL myself. rasanya self discipline gue makin menipis deh -_-*. malam ini efektif skali tho. hahah it better be otherwise im doomed.

tp sungguh tadi ada momen2 di mana gue ngerasa stuck dan terngiang2lah pikiran ke saat2 gue ngerjain packaging pas semester 3. AAARGHHHHH. masa kaya gitu lagiiiihhhhh.. NEVERRRRRR. so yea i just kept on going. hahah. dannnnnnnnnnnn skg bisa tidur bentar, 6 hours should be enough at this stage.

nti masi harus ngeprint. its been ages since iv been to a printer. hope all works out smoothly tomorrow. masi agak2 resah sih, until i get the finished product in hand T_T.

a free translation of jerawat batu. one has managed to find a place right in the middle of my chin.
its a very visual addition. -my friends were having a field day yest-. plus if you touch it rasanya nyeri. why is this worth an entry? krn iv never had a jerawat batu before, thats why i find this somewhat fascinating! i also find it very annoying that i cant squeeze it out (thats what i normally do with the regulars, should they decide to show up. with me squeezing sort of speeds up the process of healing. something i find very handy). rasanya this will take its time to heal -_-*. rese. its been around since last week. what....NEARLY A WEEK OMG!!! smoga in the future gak lagi dehhh..

wohh.. scared shitless! there's a due day looming around the corner, identity design. and the amount of work done til this point is alarmingly scarce. we had a 'lets see where everybodys up to' in class.. well the majority is pretty much where i am now, some a bit further others less.. we all seem to know what we're going to do but we all havent done it yet!! hahah.

oh and i didnt get the apple thing. some other local (malay) designer offered to do the job for less thn half of what i asked! shocking! doesnt that person eat? doesnt that person pay bills? i thought i already gave a pretty cheap price considering im not really that experienced yet. oh well.. there must be a good reason for this so yeah move onn.. besides. skg juga hal2 persekolahan lagi ruameeee so in the end it all sort of works out for me.

im starting to get into the whole uni thing again. its week 4 already. felt like much longer.

im currently in the library. on a pc. which opens up A LOT of things, blogging-ly speaking. see, for some strange reason im unable to edit my text on safari. im stuck with the same old type size (which is too big for my liking) and color (white.. oh my how exciting!). am not sure if this will look any different when i open it up later on my computer. so please allow me to amuse myself.see if it makes any difference or not at the end.

a whole bunch of us had lunch today at lucky coq. ofcourse, $3 gourmet pizza.. who can resist that?! it was a nice mix of ppl, local n international students. andira brought his wife with him so that was nice, finally i got to meet the person who craved for fish n chips the week before. catched up with yuyu n joseph as well. huuuuhh senang de hari ini pokoknya. ngobrol2 dan catching up. sayang si tadi anak2 masters yg dr thailand kaga jadi dateng. but then again, klopun pd dateng apa ada tempat?!

minggu ini bakalan banyak kerjaan, gak not only for uni but for camp also. the posters, flyers, campbook layout and nametags!! by this saturday i need to have the posters and flyers ready. omg. and the teaser!! hahah quite a lot sebenernya. but im excited!! camp ini camp terakhir gue. sedih banget deh. when i say this is my last camp, its not kechil's style of saying "ini camp terakhir gue". that went on for.. the last 3 camps or so hahah. anyway, its bizarre if i think about it. i feel so at home here. OKAY. we shall not discuss this, not yet. no need for melancholy just yet. iv just started the first semester for crying out loud!!

oh. pas identity design tadi we were shown work from previous students. and whose work was up there first... Keyo's!!! it was said that it was one of the strongest one out there, so keyo if you read this.. you know im going to contact you to grab ur work as reference hahahaha. keyo baek deeeeeeeeeeehhh ^___^. (when she did the project i was still in my 2nd year, 3rd semester. berjuang melawan branding juga, an interior design firm called powwow.) but yes, the whole branding process is much clearer now. we were shown less strong pieces afterwards as comparison. so it was good to be reminded again which direction we should not take. im just so happy about this subject. i havent done any branding in aaaages. and somehow this feels like its gonna be my first proper one. hell it better be proper!! final folioooo~

for information design iv decided to switch topic. no longer pengalaman gue potong rambut, since iv realized i didnt collect enough data at the start. and the data is hard to manipulate as well. i was basically stuck. tp gpp all is recorded in my book so that will go in my journal. what im going to do now is... the process of me cleaning up my room!! hahahah that should be much better, no!! im always in my room. and its always in some state of messiness. its going to be embarassing to show ppl my room/mess.. not to mention menyebalkan krn ini berarti gue harus gradually start cleaning up my room again (padahal masi belom berantakan2 amat.. mnrt gue..). but if pain and suffer is neccessary for the job, then suffer i must!

wetsss its nearly 330. need to go to adits, n then cepat2 ke paperpoint ngambil kertas lalu start working on them flyers n posters!!! busy busy busyyyyy~

anyway the ffxii ads are showing up frequently on tv. makes me penasaran, iv read about it somewhere before and ofcourse the graphics are.. well.. very ff. tp tetep dongggg.. ingin melihat video2nya. so thank goodness for youtube!!! melihat opening video's serta ending vid (agak gantung si mnrt gue. but who am i to talk). heheh. basi ya. i wish all the video's were compiled somewhere, filed neatly and ready to download. probably ada, tp guenya aja yg ga dapet2 ya klo nyari.

lalu.. teringat lagi klo taon kemaren i saw a bit of the ffxiii trailer. trus tadi dld krn -ofkos- gue penasaran. indah skali T_T.

now. i suck at games. the only ff series iv owned is ffviii. didnt even get pasti the 1st cd. heck, i think i never really got out to venture at THE VERY BEGINNING!!!! i tried ppl!! i tried!!! i dont have a pesky brother lying around in the house so i couldnt go to anybody for help. finally iv let that game be and its collecting dust somewhere in my room di jkt ever since. and no, that wasnt such a big waste of money, cuz its hard to find the 'real thing' in indo. if you can get your hands on them, it'll cost a fortune anyways and so pirated is (sadly?) the way to go...

about ff, i love watching the scenery, and the inbetween movies also. tp hadohhh buat maen sendiri sih malesbenerrrrrr.. i fancy the ff franchise up until a certain point, kecuali di bbrp games yg kluar blakangan ini. a bit sell out ya. apa mreka butuh dana to perfect the ps3 game? or were they just being greedy bastards eager to milk more money. i think thats more likely to be the case =p.

sudah gelap!

wah.. jam segini (820pm) udah gelap ne skg. well i just noticed krn i just turned around to see my window. its getting colder soon *yay*. but of course it still needs to be warm, minimal until hari jumat lah!! hahahah. mo barbekyuuuuu!!!

besok mo pegi ke chaddy. ke vip nite untuk kesekian kalinya, eventho im not going to shop. just for the sake of going hehe. senang senang. i dont know why, apa mungkin gue kurang hiburan? kesian banget ye pegi ke chaddy dan merasa terhibur.

uni is going fine i guess. minggu ke2 ne udahan. grup untuk UCD akhirnya terbentuk, mayan last minute (baru kemaren). minggu depan dah harus ada poster, so we have time to research only until friday. hohoh. tp grup yg akhirnya terbentuk ternyata mayan enak hahah. anak2 commdes 5 + anak MD 1. its just a very comfy group and im not worried about our poster eventho we've only met up twice. we only finalised our point of research this arvo! hahah. but like i said, im not too worried.
gue cenderung diem kalo lagi ada grup meeting gitu. apalagi klo 5 manusia laennya pada vokal smua. kemaren gue menyadari hal ini. tash pun nyadar. so today at our meeting gue berusaha lebih ngomong. at the start that worked out, tp at the end i was quiet again. sampe dikomenin si bec. heheh.

i need to start on camp things! woohh nti malah terbengkalai. need to do heaps, actually. poster, flyer, buku camp serta nametag!!! eng ing enggggg.. hahahah.. so much to doooooo!!

projects projects projects

yes. as of today, the settling in has officially ended and i welcome the harsh world of assignments!!
no more free stuff (red bull, falafel wraps, icecream and whatnot..), from next monday if we want to fill our tummy we will sadly need to relief some content out of our wallets. sadness.

iv yet to bring my printer to the repairshop. am thinking that it must wait. why, you might inquire. but it just has to.

in the spirit of all things zennifying (while lookadat i made up a word), iv decided to cut my hair. nothing grand, nothing spectacular. just a plain old maintenance cut yg skaligus juga thinning out my tresses. fingers crossed, bye2 split ends! the boyfriend cut his hair as well. when the hairdresser finished my boyfriend mysteriously dissapeared, and in his place there was this dude called harimurti.
bring back adiiiiiittttt!!!! its been ages since he's had his hair this short.. like.. 'normal' guys length. this new hairdo of his enables much more styling. but we'll see how that goes.
