uni started..

yest kelas pertama. its a good thing that i dont have classes monday morning. it only starts at noon, which is great!! we didnt do much of course. im still feeling a bit bleh towards the fact that i cant slack off like i had the past 2 months hahah.

anyways, i called up the printer people hoping for a quote.. yes, my printer died on me last week. it refused to feed paper through, altho it functioned the day before! well perhaps it needs a fix here n there krn udah berumur bbrp taon. tp tetep dooooongggg sebel gueeee.. to get a quote will set me back $25. and if i decide to have the reparation, they will deduct the $25 off the service cost. im sure it will cost me a fortune tp mau gak mau ini harus dilakukannn. my life will depend on this machine in the coming months.

iv revamped my notebook for the semester. merasa sangat terbantu oleh handworks. they stock beautiful paper! i had a hard time choosing which paper to use. the paper iv chosen untuk cover warnanya orange & mustard, bahan motifnya dari bludru. trus buat bagian dalemnya kertas bermotif warna cyan. and of course i added an elastic band like i did last year (hehe nyontek dr moleskin =p). melihat hasilnya gue sungguh puasss..

things seem to be going rather well with the latest addition in the house. we made dinner yesterday! tom yau bumbu trasi, some sort of mapo tofu, and beef bulgogi (yg ditambahin kecap krn tiba2 keabisan bumbu). am sure that this will last until thursday, even more. smoga akan selalu sempat masak2 either sunday or monday evening. menu minggu depan spertinya rawon. krn sangat gampang dibuat hueheh.

wah hari ini kelas sampe sore, need to go to the lecture krn akan dibagi2kan to groups or something.
ohh how i dread groupwork!!!

i want a banana. untung kemaren dah beli. seneng deh, lagi murah skg! just $2 a kilo. woohoooo..

i just... well these past few hours has certainly not been filled with cheer. this entry is just untuk menghabiskan sisa2 penat di otak. kepenatan utama sudah tercurahkan kepadanya, eventho ibaratnya itu sprt bottled water. dialirkan & tertampung skg untuk konsumsi saat nanti. okay forget the bottled water analogy.

im very sure everything happens for a reason, cliche mampus ya. whoever came up with that saying must be somewhat of a genius. a very unlucky genius perhaps(ever the pessimist), but a genius nevertheless. since i lack sufficient grey matter to claim myself a prodigy, iv just been trying to tie everything with everything so i can see the benang merah. for a certain lack of action in the past, the consequences will present itself during X times BUT sadly with added complications of various intertwining misshappenings.

the building was hot n humid. but according to Le Rice, its beautiful and smells like an old piano.

we sat at the very back at the very top. so we couldnt see his or lisa's face (bummer)... im closer-up versions will pop up in youtube.

this very experience has made somebody in singapore green with envy *hahah*

anyways, it was such a wonderful concert. beautiful...

2) RUMAH RAPIH : cleaned the fridge, cleared the pantry (ternyata banyak juga barang expired hahahah sampe bubuk konyaku aja bisa punya yg expired -_-*. btw found a weird something.. ada tomato puree merk homebrand safeway, yg best beforenya adalah 30 februari 2007!!! hahahah perhaps i should send this to Rove Live (klo masi ada?), did the dishes, cleared out the brown table which will be our new working table (trimakasih fredy atas kesediaannya membiarkan kami memakai mejanya!)

3) did the laundry. yg warna.

total2 sampah yg dihasilkan CUKUP banyak tentunya, klo diakumulasi dr yg kemaren, mencapai belasan kantong plastik. full.. i cant imagine me cleaning up the house untuk saat2 harus for good. OMG i dont even want to think about it T__T. huehh at least for the time being..

anyways, my timetable ternyata tidak seindah yg dibayangkan sebelomnya. they changed the timetable, yg as a result tiba2 ada bbrp kelas yg selesainya jam 9 malam. MALAS!!!!! setelah atur sana atur sini iv decided that i still have a class until 9pm for the 1st 6 weeks.. yg week 7-12 kelasnya siang/sore. phew.
aaaandddddd instead of having 3 days off, gue cman ada 2. thursday & friday. yah gak bisa complain2 amat lah ya.. tadinya yg tuesday off juga. yasudahlahhhh...

cant believe uni starts in 2 weeks.. i dont think im ready for it yet. give me 4 more weeks off T_T

i dont know why up until now belom ada? iv looked at some street fashion blogs from around the world, its pretty much happening ya. the ones i know from around the southeastasian area: manila & singapore. perhaps bangkok has one (or several?) too that im not aware of.. DI MANAKAH JAKARTA?!?!?!?!

sebelom memulai, (ever the pessimist) iv thought of the kendala's yg akan (tp smoga tidak) dihadapi:
- hunting ground. oke. i havent been back in a LONG time so i dont really know whats happening, or where its happening. need help here.

- are jakartans willing enough to experiment?? do we actually dare to be different? as in.. not blindly following the latest trends.. yg spertinya masihh aja vintage. oke, im not against vintage. i love vintage, been wearing my mums stuff for as long as i can remember. but im expecting some 'edge' from todays crowd.

- the possibility that; a) people will run for their dear lives, b) call out for the nearest satpam, c) stare at me with a nyolotly dissing sneer - when i (politely. of course) ask their permission for a shot.

what sort of blog do i have in mind. well, not a bitchy one, thats for sure. who am i to judge, right?!

my biggest blog of inspiration would be the sartorialist. such great eye for detail he has!

kebaya

i dont know whats gotten into me, tp tadi tiba2 i opened up my wardrobe n grabbed my kebaya... stengahnya juga penasaran whether i still fit into it or not *_*. well... it turns out i still do! woohoooo.. walo skg kok agak sesak ya. and i just realized its so insanely high wasted!! yah syapa juga yg bilang klo berkebaya itu comfy? somehow tp gue emang kurang sreg sih ama yg ini.. merasa bersalah juga krn dulu menyetujui beli krn ngerasa gak enak ma nyokap. ibaratnya, a purchase byar gak 'diharass' lagi. tp udah bertaon2 punya, still blom ada occasion untuk gue pakai.. i dont think i will? mungkin bawahannya ya, tp atasannya ngga deyy. why i dont like the atasan : potongan kerahnya agak2 kya cheongsam. yg berdiri gitu. trus... kancing2nya keliatan banget, plus masangin kancingnya susahnya minta ampun. so im not really on friendly terms with it.

besok valentine's day. for some reason gue gak ngerasa hari ini special lagi. i think ini sejak taon lalu, bbrp hari after our valentines dinner gue jadi mikir.. kok kyaknya repot2 amat ya, plus the date doesnt hold any significance in our relationship. lagian anniversary kita juga dah gak jaoh2 amat. mungkin valentines lebih 'seru' buat yg annivnya skitar okt/nov gitu. kan jaraknya jaoh, so you have some sort of reason to 'celebrate'. i dont know, thats what i think.

as for tomorrow.. i think.. today ill make a pudding with more effort thn biasanya heheh. i remember waktu sma i gave (my now ex-)boyfriend some sort of pudding juga?!... oh! now i remember!! me n a abunch of friends got together n tried to make choc cookies buat dikasi besoknya.. hahaha that turned out quite disastrous.. hasil yg jadi gak sebanding dgn effort yg dikeluarkan. maunya tu bikin cookies yg dre cereal trus ada coklat2nya gitu. i think more thn half of it fell apart hueheh. yg penting niat.. dan rasanya juga ternyata enak anyway ^^. oh.. kisah cinta sma.. ^^.

besok.. rasanya akan pegi liat2 apartemen. trus beres2 rumah. yes!! thats the spirit~

maths

me n the bf, we often share stories. suka random sih; dr hal yg tiba2 kepikiran, mimpi aneh semalem, masa kecil nan bahagia (or not). you get the drift rite. trus terbahaslah lagi ttg matematika. how it tortured me for four long years and how he went through it happily... so.. tiba2 trus dia ngomong "what about me teaching it to you now?"...

which i responded with " BAIKLAAAH!!!!"... engg.. oke. trus dia nanya, apa yg mo diajarin lagi? what about (something that escapes me now). i stared back at him blankly. (oh! now i remember. its called 'persamaan') dimulai dr hal2 yg simpel trus makin lama makin bikin gue frustrasi. keluarlah rumus laknat macam b kuadrat plus minus akar 4ac bagi 2a. tailah itu rumus!!

smua gambar2nya thumbnails. just click on it to see the details. ga sbrapa susah ya emang, tp klo ulangan we dont have the luxury called CHEATSHEETS like they have here.. i remember havin a hard time memorizing all the rumuses. hal pertama yg gue lakukan pas ulangan mat/fis dulu adalah nulisin rumus di kertas coret2an. provided i remembered them correctly T_T. gak pernah berhasil untuk nulis di kertas coretannya dulu yg diselipkan lalu dimunculkan lagi kemudian.. i think my math teacher was busuk enough to walk past everybody. or was i just too scared? halah kya nilainya bakal ngefek aja.. antara gue dapet 0 (which is ketauan nyontek) ama dpt 2.. hahahah..

anyways. im looking forward to my next math lesson..
