kok bosen ya

aduuuuuuh ngapain ya ini. gue tadi siang pegi ke ct menyebarkan resume lagi. ada tempat2 yg emang lagi nyari, so i keep my fingers crossed. ingin bekerja di retail. ingin.. uuuuhh fingers crossed babyyyyy..

tadi berhasil loh btw bikin muffinnya!!! horeeeee.. hihihi.. bikinnya di rumah fanny, dgn adonan sisa kemaren itu. trus tinggal ditambahin self raising flour til the consistency is similar to how we normally make our sweet muffins. jadinya agak bantet sih, cman enak ^^

sudah dihidangkan kepada maria serta leni. hehehe. bikin ini easy banget, none of the drama yg happened yesterday. so perhaps we can repeat this some other time berhubung jagung yg bersisa masih banyak. btw jagung yg terpakai ternyata bukan 5, tapi 7!!! yafet pulang2 girang pas ngeliat freezernya krn mnrt dia udah berkurang isinya while i cant see the difference.

iv been making my own ice tea lately. kemaren bikin sama teh biasa, agak spesial juga sih somehow krn yafet bilang itu tehnya langsung dr srilanka. okedeh. anyway, hari ini gue bikin make green tea yg terflavoured apple+pear. twinnigs, nothing fancy. added sugar to it. YES. i add sugar to my green tea. its a tearrible crime i know but its waaaaaay better thn buying things like pocca, rite?! aduh hari ini kenyang banget -_-*

yay finally rented night watch from blockbuster!!! selama ini iv looked at the wrong place (scifi.. action..) ternyataaaaa itu ada di horror!!! ofcourse gue gak pernah ngeliat ke horror!!! blockbuster kadang2 klasifikasinya suka aneh kok. anyway doesnt matter krn skg gue bs ntn filmnya. the other movie iv rented is angels in america. its got good reviews. yknow, i really want to see the addams family. bukan yg values yo ini mah udah gue pinjem kemaren.. masa harus beli sih -_-*.

eh gila bentar lagi udah newyears!! im way more excited about newyears eve thn christmas. mungkin krn christmas lebih ke family sedangkan nuyearseve more twards teman2. dan yg ada di sini adalah teman2. hehehe.. seneng lohhhh. i am totally embracing this holiday mode ive got going on now!! paperchase ngeluarin journals2 yg indah2 deh. sayangnya gue gak telaten keeping one. one is really beautiful. covernya purple fabric trus ada circles of mirrors at the cover. keren banget hahah buat yg seneng ngaca seneng tuh. trus kertasnya juga bagus, its recycled textured paper. ada pita pembatasnya pula. but yes, knowing myself very well.. gue gak telaten sama skali in keeping up a written journal *oh wish i were!! such a beautiful item up for grabs!!*. im more of an online person. buat gue lebih cepat ngetik. jaoh lebih cepat. ini lebih efisien and it serves the function i desire.

been thinking .. ada slight kemajuan dlm diriku ini this year, since iv actually said 'merry christmas' to my parents in form of sms and a card that will arrive very late im sure. taon ini gue gak ngirim sms2 slamat natal ke orang2. hehe maap yah klo ada yg ngirim ke gue dan baca ini, tapi buat gue sih ini cenderung buang2 pulsa. im only talking about the templated ones ya, bukan yg personalized. so i chose not to send them at all drpd gue mesti sibuk milih2 antara mana yg gue kirim ygpersonalized, mana yg gue kasi macem templates gitu. dibahas di radio btw. kejam banget, penyiar A ngeliat ke hp penyiar B trus actually called up one of the person yg ngirimi sms template ke penyiar B!! hahah dasar geblek..

anywaylast christmas gue gak ngirim kartu, gak sms, gak nelpon ke bonyok. yak agak keterlaluan memang jadi naturally agak diomelin heheh. taon ini kartu2 yg gue kirimkan ke rumah emang agak banyak. well not banyak, its just tepat for each occasion. all selfmade kecuali yg kartu natal sih hehe. oh dads bday is coming up in feb.

speaking of feb.. my folks actually wanted me to come home in feb?! i was quite surprised!! ya okelah gue udah gak pulang 2 taon wajar memang klo kangen. tapi gue mengerti keadaan dimana emang gue gak bisa semudah itu pulang pergi indo dan sudah menjadi janji gue untuk keep working this summer(hayo ini gimana blom ada yg ngehubungin balik T__T). jadi i was really surprised! gara2 ini feeling rindu rumah yg blakangan2 ini sudah hadir makin menjadi2!! trus makin terbayang2 ama keadaan indo. bonyok gue, temen2 gue yg gue dah lama gak liat, sodara2.. aaarghhh jadi sentimentil skali..
but yes. i decided not to go home this feb. krn apa? nanggung banget. klo gue pulang cman plg mentok cman bisa 3 minggu. MANA CUKUP!!! sayang duitnyaaaa.. so when am i going back? its indefinite. well not really juga sih, krn gue pasti pulang indo after i graduate. but thats a whole different story. sad sad story. tuh kan jadi bete!! bener deh emang kata karina.. melancholy can kill you!! jadi i better stop before it gets the better of me. cheers.

alright lets get this done and over with. the first milestone!!!

100 what? 100 chicken? perhaps thats the amount that have perished only to be consumed by me during my short years on this planet?? perhaps? maybe? who's counting?

anyways. hari ini gue ama fanny memulai proyek besar bernama : DADAR JAGUNG. or perkedel jagung. or bakwan jagung. whatever you wanna call them. the ingredients are of course, mengingat namanya yg sudah cukup jelas... jagung. knapa tiba2 pengen bikin ini? ini untuk membantu saudara yafet dan adit menghabiskan jagung curian mereka. (JAGUNG CURIAN!?!?!?!). let me summarize the story. di parkiran apartemen mreka, yafet menemukan boxes of corn yg masih terbungkus kulit alaminya (what do you call that?). yafet pnasaran. yafet ngambil beberapa. yafet masih pnasaran. yafet ngambil DUA KARDUS, sembari deg2an takut kegep sama yg empunya/membuang jagung. jadi malamnya, those two guys had a labour-intensive kegiatan which is menguliti jagung2 tersebut biar kaga basi. lalu harus disimpan di mana??

this is AFTER iv taken 5 out to make the dadar jagung. it didnt do much to the layout as you can see hahaha.

proses pembuatan of the dadar jagung ternyata penuh drama (i briefly set a papertowel on fire krn terlalu deket ma kompor, the oil ran over the wajan krn emang kekecilan and im sure there's another scientific/cookery logic reason behind it KRN IT DIDN'T DO SO BEFORE) alhasil i had to clean up their kitchen afterwards. that is.. the stove, ngganti koran tatakan bumbu, washing the dishes and while i was at it i vacuumed also. PLUSSSS emptied the vacuum and in the process i found out why the damn thing overheats all the time. its all because of pinky's bulu2 yg nyumbat. paraaaahhhhh.. anyway. ya begitulah.

its quite a lot of effort for the humble dadar jagung. it tastes like mum makes it at home so at least im happy about that! it doesnt look like much cuz its stacked.

masih ada sisa bahan. krn gagal membuat omelet (kehabisan telor. hasilnya yg terlihat dlm mangkok hitam) akhirnya sisanya gue simpen buat bikin muffin! yesss.. finally muffin yg rasanya gurih2. mo coba besok (fanny skg kau yang clean-up ya). hahah smua berbahan dasar jagung. i love jagung!

cold christmas!!

fenomena alam yg sangat gak biasa. tapi ini mungkin terjadi krn doa orang2 yg ngedoain bushfire kenceng banget, akhirnya hari ini HUJAN!!! and it was COLD. considering its normally around 30-35* or even onwards during these gay yuletides down-under, its fair to say that 11*+rain is not what ppl are used to. PLUS.. they say its going to hail on christmas day?! and in mt. buller there's gonna be white christmas!?!?! THIS IS NUTS!!! buat anda2 yg berada di bumi bagian utara (atawa bekennya yurop or yu-es of e) fenomena ini mungkin serupa dgn adanya hail/snow in july.. agak2 aneh bukankah.

hahah im not complaining about the cold weather loh.. i actually like it this way. this is a tiny little step closer to having a white christmas. cuaca spt ini lebih cozy, begitu. klo panas2 kan cenderung emosi. i had my scarf on today. summer. scarf. those two words dont exactly match but its the perfect combo for today.

so yeah, this years christmas eve was spent in lucky coq. my xmaseve dinner was an organic pizza (roast pumpkins, soy cheese, pinenuts, and too much fresh basil), with sips of asahi, mango vodka+lemonade and water of course. my xmas lunch (and perhaps dinner as well) will be chasiu pork on rice! ini krn kebodohan diriku yg lupa pergi ke supermaket tadi. yasudalahnyaaaaa drpd makan indomie.

i cant remember what i did last year during christmas. adit says that xmas eve was on a saturday jadi itu spertinya dispend bersama anak2 lah ya (altho i cant really remember. mind you, i didnt drink anything so this sudden memory loss is completely natural. but i do remember newyears eve. hahah but thats a different story folks.

mighty mouse!! yessss gue dikasi(tepatnya nuker) adit ^^. he bought an iBook from ebay tapi iBooknya dah tersupply dgn MM. he already had one, jadinya dikasi gue.. hehehe thankyoumydear. so now i can cubit away on my very own mac. oh the simple joys of life!!

rite. i said i'd post my toys the other day.. here they are:

aint these things precious?! si kucing i got from fanny for my bday a year ago. the mummy i got from my co-workers at thomson, trus the spider i bought in 2003 in the first month nyampe melben. they have no names. i never name my stuffed toys. i tried, but i never call them up by their names anyway (unlike certain people, eh keyo?!?!?! so yeah. no names for my critters.)

ahh now i shall retreat and read comics. its time for ngebooooo~

and going uncharacteristically myself here *blame the crazy weather*, i wish you all a merry berry christmas and a smashing new year!! get drunk responsibly, its the only time of year you can get away with it other than ur birthday oh decent and rightious citizens of terra firma!!

i remembered what i did on xmas day last year!!! me n the boyfriend were planning to go to X destination, gak jelas memang but emang niatnya cman pengen naek vline gratis. hahaha tapi setelah melihat2 jadwal kok kyaknya agak mengerikan, we were scared that we would miss the train back to melben hahah. jadi plan ini tersingkirkan jauh2. so we packed our artists gear (ehem ehem.. charcoal, pencils, marker, fineliner etc) and went into the city to draw. tadinya pengen ke botanical gardens tp kepanasan jadinya indeed ke city/bourke st. it wasnt completely deserted. but 90% of the ppl walking around were asians hahahaha. dasar emang gak bisa nggak jalan2 yah. as for this year, im spending my xmas tentu bersamanya, hanya skg kita di rumah disertai dgn setumpuk komik baik dlm bentuk buku maupun yg digital and layers of quilts. i am content. very content. he brought his iBook so i can blog/browse away while he finishes deathnote. jadi ini turut membantu terpeliharanya perdamaian dunia 221 dandenong road.

have discovered today that the annoying person at wdytha has also started to use my nick!!! dan mulai melakukan hal yg serupa sama user2 laennya setelah mengabuse si KnoeDel. oh so annoying. tapi gaya postingnya tetep aja katro abis. of course penulis2 asli ngga nulis dgn style kampung spt itu. halah bisa bahasa jerman lancar dikit aja udah banyak bacot. tai kambing emang (yooo.. thats the christmas spirit. uttering "tai kambing" to some unknown person).

oh it starts to rain again. this really is a blessing yah!! lots of rain. woohoo. )

stuffed!!!

i am completely STUFFED!!
it started with the barbie.. real nice, we had skinny pork cutlets marinated in chinese wine + pepper, some gourmet sausages, tender lamb steaks, mushrooms, capsicum, onions, salads, corn cobs, turkish bread + dip. banyak ya. dan enakkk. trus somehowwww malemnya gue masih tetep aja makan, i had: a small banana (woohoo the first one this year perhaps?!), small mangkok of rice+minced lamb dish that fanny made, semangkok bakso cumi + tahu, and a nectarine. CRAZY!!!!! and until today, 12.30 im not even hungry. oh did have a small slice of mango cheesecake this morning.. kan 'last day cake' gue hueheh. haduh no wonder klo penulis2 majalah suka berkoar2 panik akan saat2 natal!! ofkos freeflow *cheap* alcohol di office parties/parties in general, plus several xmas dinners and lunches.. plus hampers, chocolates and the good sort of alcohol dlm porsi yg juga tdk sedikit. no wonder ppl are dreading the festive season dan detoxing afterwards!!! hahahaha.. i probably should..

now what am i going to have for lunch?? probably the corncobs from yest.. masi bersisa banyak tuh. enak. kemaren gue bawa almond pudding tapi bersisa stengah. trus gue bawa pulang.. eh hari ini ditanyain apa masih ada apa ngga -_-*. la elah.. dah gue bawa pulang gitu?!

skg kegiatan gue.. poster2 inservice keparat itu.. trus ngosongin this machine. later in the day i need to ngosongin this working area too.. hixhix.

today gue ingin foto2. 2 hari yg lalu i checked out my bw filmrolls, they expire feb 2007 T_T. tapi ini filmroll yg aneh emang ya, klo mo dicetak tempatnya spesial gitu dan MAHAL tentunya di sini. i ended up not using them at all during my 2nd year. abisnya mahal gituhhh.. nyetak doang 35$... errrr no thanks. so today im going into the city with my nikon FG. hopefully im getting some nice shots. its a good way to end this day, ... perhaps ^^.

the future

to me this is quite a depressing topic, really. paling nggak bisa ngejawab nti kira2 10 taon lagi where do you see yourself? barangkali gue kurang iman ya.. perhaps.

klo gue bandingin diri gue yg skg sama apa yg dulu2 i thought myself to be, most likely i turn out to be somewhat of a disappointment. but i guess rata2 orang berpikir demikian bukankah? idealist and ambitious thoughts *to say the least* from teenage years lama2 jadi luntur krn benturan sana sini, cynicizm yg terbentuk in the process and basically fully realizing.. realitas hidup?

baru dipanggil sama orang2 kantor, they gave me farewell pressies *sobs*. this really cute mini mummy stuffed toy *which goes great with the cat, pictures of both menyusul. promise!!*, and a tezuka (astroboy) book ^_____^. wahhhhh canggih canggihhh.. ntar lagi off to the barbeque.. its gonna last for the rest of the day hueheh. so yes. besok tinggal beres2in barang. sama ngerjain poster *argh bloody things*. abis itu its goodbye thomson T_T.

yknow kemaren gue baru bayar fine gue. waaaay overdue. dan jadinya MAHAL SKALI. keparat. yasudahloh drpd kena kasus, iv postponed this for way to long anyways. reseee >.<. ditambah dgn minus gaji yg kemaren, diriku benar2 defisit!! never ever ever before kya beginiii!! keterlaluan. and yes, this adds up to my frustration and depression but now its a bit numbed by the happy feeling after receiving those pressies. im really still a gullible little girl deep down =p.

begitu gue masuk kantor besok senin ini, i have 4 more working days left. whoa.. dan gue belom tau mo ngebeliin orang2 apa. i was thinking of asking them out for lunch ke garammerica *since iv never been* atawa beliin sebotol of that banana wine (or liquor?) atau apa ya.. tapi bagaimana ini. bokek saya. ternyata terpotongnya cukup banyak dari gue kemaren2 ijin sakit itu. i shudv paid more attention to my contract -_-*. anyway gue kyaknya total2 gak masuk bulan kemaren is 3 days. dan berasa lumayan tentunya! hix. yasudahloh namanya jg sakit T_T. nasty cut in my money tho. very nasty.

tonite akhirnya mo ntn russel peters. strange, but somehow im not as excited anymore. maybe it took too long for this day to finally arrive. or perhaps iv seen/heard his jokes too many times. i dont know. hopefully i'll still be *somewhat* excited.

natalan mucic kemaren. why am i even mentioning this? cuz somehow natal for me has totally lost its meaning. or, i havent felt its meaning yet. one of the two. its not that i cant be home for christmas (oh well another year how much can it hurt *sarcasm*), maybe im just getting tired of the whole 'semangat natal' thing. its all a bit fabricated. why cant this just continue for the entire year? hahah i sound like some angry little kid.

oh. another thing. iv never been a person who goes about recollecting their memories at the end of each year in order to; a) sulk about the time/experience/capital lost during the past year, b) carefully strategizing a way to get through the next, c) contemplating in general. perhaps i should start on c. it seems like a wise enough thing to do, and considering 'my age' i should engage in slightly more useful activities, no? heheh tp gimana dong... im not that 'deep', my philosophical thoughts are at a minimum, my goals in life are somewhat blur, which brings me to the conlusion that im perhaps frustrated in a way. (whoa.. anything else thats new?)

anyways. dishes hav piled up and sooner or later it needs to be done.

*edit: i had a haircut last friday. im neither satisfied nor disappointed with the results. its very.. blah. well i did only get a trim to get rid of the spilt ends.. yg btw masih ada tuh beberapa. rambut gue ini parah juga ternyata. i need to be patient for it to grow longer baru deh gue modelin lagi. mungkin cumi2 style? or kemoceng style? lets all pray that i keep off from chemically dying my hair otherwise i just keep repeating this vicious cycle.. *

btw 2 hari kemaren ini PANAS BANGET!!! TOTAL!!! sabtu banyak bushfire di victoria.. alhasil smog di mana2, it was even pretty bad in the cbd. katanya siiih 37* tp kok kyaknya lebih ya?? kasian tuh yg tinggalnya di rural vic. trus kemaren LEBIH PANAS LAGI. maigashhhhhh.. 42* saja sodara2!!! and they say its gonna be worse in mid jan. oh tidaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaakkkk.. kya gini aja rasanya dah mo marah.

udara panas begini nih bikin ga konsen! contoh: hari sabtu gue lagi bli icecream sama snack di korean mart. total 3.30, gue bayar 10$. trus gue tambahin 30 sen krn males lah ya bawa krincing2an terlalu banyak. dompet gue tidak memungkinkan soalnya. anyways trus gue lupa ngambil kembaliannyaaaaaaaa... which is basically ongkos gue dinner. aaarghhh.. so annoyinngggg.. dan nyadarnya baru pas lagi dinner T_T. we went rame2 ke sofia btw. ma anak2 myf, ber34. banyak ya, ngaturinnya juga bikin bloeddruk tapi tidak perlu dibahas di sini. untungnya smua bisa terangkut ke sono n smua pada kenyang.

kemaren somehow gue jadi mood mberes2in kamar. hahah. waaay overdue. so iv finally put all my clothing into the closet. changed my bedlinen (and discovered that i bought the wrong size! jadi semalem kasurnya covered in sarung bali hahah). vac'd the livingroom. andddd did laundry. but a monkey can do that since all i have to do is put everything in the machine. and ppl, please know that you cant directly put the softener onto your clothing or else you'll end up having nasty stains all over ur wash (ya gak fet.. heuheh.). so either put it lateron during the last rinse (malasss). or kalo mesinlu udah lebih canggih dikit, it has a seperate compartment khusus untuk softener.

this past few weeks saya cukup hebat pengeluarannya. beli spatu serta 2 dresses. all totalling below $100 tapi teteup ajah kan yak a hundred bucks will always be a hundred bucks (euhhh). not regretting the spenditures sih, soalnya emang kepake banget.

watched the latest jambon movie. buset dah that chase at the beginning!! itu orang kya monyet ya beneran.. i wouldnt mind watching it all over again. eva green is GORGEOUS!!!! eva green = serafinna pekkala. *sighs* daniel craig = lord asriel *sigh*. duh eva green emang cantik banget ya, gak cman kebetulan cantik doang di kingdom of heaven.

semalem ktnya adit ditelpon papinya... intinya melapor that both our parents met at a wedding! i dont even know who got married eventho katanya its a relative of mine, but i remember my dad saying something about mo pegi ke solo anaknya om hwie *or sumtin* meh jagong. to me that was some real random info. tapi ternyata trus ketemu bonyoknya adit hahah. i think thats probably the first time they've 'met up' ever since me n adit got together. bokap cengenges banget tapi pas gue sms "kok tau siiih.. sengaja nggak ngomong kamu..." huh. dah malem banget pas nyemes jadi gue jg males nyemes2 balik. dasarrrr...

dit is m'n enelaaste week in the office. ik kan basically start aftellen. feels really weird. liz is nu officially gepromoveerd jadi secondary marketing manager. good on her! ngomong2 office, hari jumat lalu was thomson's xmas party. rada2 gimana yaaaa.. gak sampe terlalu heboh2 amat. i took some pics ofkos dan kita semeja rada mencela2 bbrp orang hahaha. sungguh jahat tapi demikianlah adanya. untung deh pas jumat itu udaranya nggak sepanas sabtu/minggunya!!!

we went strawberry picking last sunday. seru juga! stroberinya gede2 bangetttttt buset dahh..
jadinya agak mahal sih, tapi kan yah namanya orang juga cari penghasilan ya gak.. pengalaman aja sih, i dont wanna do it again. as per usual, we took heaps of pics n vids ;

pulangnya kita ngambil rute yg berbeda, lewatin pantai gituh. bagusnyaaa heheh ofkos kita brenti dan foto2 dulu.. this was at chapmans point.

terjadi hal yg cukup dodol, niatnya mo moto2. tapi ternyata tombol yg gue pencet is the tombol rekam!! tp jadinya lucu sih. kameranya fanny canggih memang!! sambil ngerekam tetep bisa moto (happens when the video tiba2 jadi still.. means pic is being taken. neat!)

kameranya adit dah dateng. hebat!!! D70. dicoba2, trus masangin lensa gue. for some reason kamera gue kok jadi aneh ya?? its all dark gitu, padahal harusnya ngga. haduuuh whats wrong. its such an ancient thing, even older thn i am. smoga ga knapa2. i think there's a thing or two yg harusnya gak nutup jadi nutup.

my time in this office tinggal 2 minggu lagi! whoaaa cepet banget ya. tgl 21 is my last day. gue masi ga tau nih orang2 mo dibeliin apa.. bingung bingung bingung.

kemaren ngafe ama fan adit yafet inne. busettttt maruk abis kita!! ke greco crown. ngabisin 4 cake ber 5! tiramisu, choc-, passionfruit&mango-, and mars-cheesecake. EDAN! plus drinks. jadi amount spent juga equally EDAN! busettttt.. cape loh.

btw. after we went to stroberi farm we ate at hopky springvale. enak bangettt. sayurnya juga banyak sih hahaha tp enak!!! bis tu ke rumah fan, tapi nganggur2 banget jadinya bosan. lalu gue mengusulkan 'mari kita jogging saja!!'. eh beneran loh pada mo joging. haha yg langsung mau tu si inne. fanny mah ikut2 aja, dan judy yg in disbelief 'haaaah ini beneran mo jogiiingggg?!?!?'. hahaha lucu banget. but we went anyway. 2 blok loh lari. dan gue senang!!! krn gue beneran lari 2 blok without walking breaks. yay me! rute yg dilalui juga beda dr yg biasanya, jadi mungkin krn itu juga gue excited. and for the first time, gue naek jembatan penyebrangan yg di deket rumah itu hahaha. lucu juga naek itu. i can see the sea from there. woot.

yknow. i need to clean up my room soon. and beresin baju2. kok males amat ya gue.
